Frequently Asked Questions:

Coaching can be distinguished from psychotherapy in several ways. To understand them, it’s important to start with definitions of each…

The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

The American Psychological Association (APA) defines psychotherapy as “the informed and intentional application of clinical methods and interpersonal stances derived from established psychological principles for the purpose of assisting people to modify their behaviors, cognitions, emotions, and/or other personal characteristics in directions that the participants deem desirable.”¹

When comparing the outcomes achieved through coaching and psychotherapy, we find core differences in four key factors: focus, purpose, population, and who is leading the change.

Petra W, Australia:

Coaching with Christine gave me exactly the clarity and insight that I needed in the moment. She made me feel safe to explore my goals and my fears and resistance around them. She created a space that allowed me to tap into my subconscious and with her support and wisdom, I felt inspired and empowered for my next step. Thank you Christine, it was such a pleasure to be coached by you, and a very useful and smooth experience.

Tara C, US:

I really enjoyed working with Christine today. Not only did I feel completely safe and heard during our session, but she was able to help me drop so deep into my body and uncover certain parts of me that needed to speak. She helped me understand that it is completely safe and ok to allow every part of me to be present and that I can allow each part of me to express their feelings. I not only walked away from the session with understanding those parts of me more clearly, but also with a clear plan of action to take the next steps in my business.

Sarah R, US:
When I work with Christine I always feel safe to share even my innermost thoughts and feelings because Christine listens with compassion and she asks me questions that help bring a new perspective to even the most challenging situations.  Christine supports me as I take steps toward my goals and when my focus strays, she gently guides me to get back on track. After each session with Christine, I feel hopeful and excited to continue working toward my goals with renewed energy and often a powerful new perspective. Coaching with Christine is a profound experience and I highly recommend  Christine as a coach.

Savannah C, Switzerland:
I’m so grateful to have Christine as my coach. She is very attuned to my needs and explores all the details that I miss. My thoughts always get more organized and clear and I always know exactly what to do to achieve my goals after her session. She is highly intuitive and provides a non-judgemental presence that you can open up to her about everything. I love Christine’s coaching style and highly recommend her!

Karlie C, US:
Christine is such a wonderful coach. Her real life experience being a caregiver and someone who is rediscovering their self care and purpose makes her the ideal coach to lead others through this journey. The gentle way in which Christine guides you to follow your intuition and care for your personal needs is extremely effective. I have so appreciated my sessions with Christine and I know you will too!

Nikki H, US:
Christine has an infectious smile and laugh. You are immediately at ease with Christine, as if you were lifelong friends taking time to catch up. She’s so easy to share things with, accepts who you are, acknowledges the pain you’ve experienced, and the goals you want to achieve. Christine is always attentively listening and then she’ll ask the right question at the precise moment that helps you open up to an a-ha about yourself and your path forward. I always look forward to meeting with Christine. I instantly feel better about where I’m at and where I’m going.

Juanita T, US:
I always enjoy my sessions with Christine, and take away a lot from them. She has worked with me through some “shadow work” using archetypes on multiple sessions. Through guiding me through this work, Christine has helped me to see those parts of myself that have been calling to be seen; I’ve been able to recognize my passions, and accept my “shadow” parts with love and a willingness to grow. These sessions have been valuable to me and rich with insight. I’m grateful for Christine’s support, experience, and kind heart through this process.

Melissa B, US:
Christine is simply wonderful. She is understanding and has some wonderful tools that help you to overcome the blocks in the mind. I have been so successful since having her as a valuable resource to my team. My business and personal life has improved. I am grateful for all her hard work.

Choose Good comes from thinking about yourself and making good choices to get you through the day or a particular situation you are dealing with, or what choices you need to make to change the direction of your life.

Choose Good and it will help you through the next hour, the next day, the next week.

Start with choosing good habits. Take small simple steps to build healthy habits into your daily life. These steps are different for everyone, but can be as easy as an affirmation to love yourself for who you are. It could be drinking more water, taking a walk, or writing down the little things you are grateful for each day.

What good choice will you make for yourself today?

Currently, I take on two clients a month on a sliding scale opportunity.
